The following position is available:

 

Grant Writer (Part Time)

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Uphold polices & procedures of The Hoboken Shelter.

  • Research & identify potential funding sources & grant opportunities.

  • Develop, draft, prepare, & submit letters of inquiries, grant proposals, grant reports, & funding correspondences with private, family, & corporate foundations, & other funding sources.

  • Meet submission deadlines & maintain, track, & report on the Grants Calendar of letters of inquiries, grant proposals, grant reports, & funding correspondences.

  • Work with the Development Director on coordination of information & priorities for grant proposals submissions.

  • Perform additional duties as required.

 

Schedule: 

  • Part-Time / Up to 16 Hours/Month.

  • On-Site / Remote.

  • Flexible Schedule / Must Meet Deadlines.

 

Salary:

  • $29/Hour / Up to $5,568/Annualized / Weekly Payroll.

Benefits:

  • Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance for Single Plan currently at $50/Week for Employee-Contribution / eligible after 90-Days for Full-Time Employees.

  • 40 Hours Paid Time Off (PTO) of Earned Sick Leave (ESL) / eligible after 120-Days / for all Employees.

  • 80 Hours Paid Time Off (PTO) / eligible after 1-Year / Additional 40 Hours after 2-Years / Additional 40 Hours after 5-Years / for Full-Time Employees only.

  • 401k Plan for Employee-Contribution / eligible after 1-Year / for all Employees.

  • 401k Employer Match / currently at 1% / for all enrolled Employees contributing to their own 401k at the Shelter.

  • Holidays:  New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, & Christmas Day.
