About Us: Committees

There are four committees that have been formed to help the Shelter realize its full potential.

The Communications Committee is responsible for all external communication and marketing materials including our brochures, newsletters, appeal letters, information pamphlets, and all community bulletins.

The Program Committee evaluates all current programs and makes recommendations for both additional programs and modifications to existing ones.

The Finance Committee is responsible for the fiscal management of the Shelter. All city and state financial reporting is handled by this committee.

The Business Development Committee is responsible for creating relationships with charitable foundations and city, state, and federal agencies. This committee is also responsible for discovering and applying for all applicable grants.
