VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

It is only with the support of our generous volunteers that we can continue to further our mission of providing a safe haven for homeless men & women.

Dinner Seven Evenings a Week:

Dinner is served every evening at 7:30pm We feed approximately 80 to 100 people each night.  There are several ways to help with this evening meal.

1.  Come and serve 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  (The entrance is down a wheelchair accessible ramp on 3rd Street.)

2.  Donate food for 100 guests for dinner. (You can come & cook it with your friends or deliver it for us to serve.)

3.  Donate money for the cost of dinner nightly ($300.00).  (You can drop-off or mail a check to JACLYN’s attn).

4.  Donate frozen meats such as hams or turkeys or canned tuna fish.

Lunch on Fridays:

We serve lunch at 1:30pm on Fridays & offer showers & clothing to our unsheltered homeless.  We need help sorting clothes for distribution, serving lunch, and cleaning-up.  2 to 4 volunteers are welcome to come and help from 11:00am to 3:00pm, with the need mostly being from 12:30pm-2:30pm.

50 brown-bagged lunches are given-out to our shelter residents every day.  We always appreciate the delivery of sandwiches that groups thankfully take the time to make, wrap, & deliver.
